North America's Introduced Birds

This is a list of birds found in North America (USA and Canada, not including Hawaii) that aren't native to the area and whose wild populations on this continent have been deemed "established" and therefore "countable" by the American Birding Association (ABA), as of August 2015. Some, like the European Starling or Ring-necked Pheasant, were deliberately introduced, while others, like many parrots, are derived from escaped or released pets. Note that this list includes one bird, the Yellow-chevroned Parakeet, that is not on the ABA list, but that I feel is well-enough established in the L.A. area (where I'm from) to be included.
