Post-Twilight YA Movie Adaptations - Page 2

In the first half of the 2010s, many movie studios attempted to replicate the success of the Twilight movies (and Harry Potter) by adapting other popular YA books. These books were often one in a series, usually had some kind of fantasy/paranormal/dystopian element, and many had a romance side plot. The Hunger Games was by far the most successful, and many attempted franchises never made it past their first film. Things slowed down since the latter half of the 2010s, but there is still a bit of trickling.
I have stuck to the films that stayed within the speculative fiction realm. Realistic YA fiction also had a boost in movies adaptations made in the past decade or so, but that is a whole other can of worms.
