This is the 6th instalment of my chronology of American fiction. It is a list of novels, novellas & short story collections by American authors published in 1950-1959. There are 7 Pulitzer Prize winners & all 10 National Book Award winners as well as works by Nobel Prize winners Bellow, Faulkner, Hemingway, Steinbeck and I.B. Singer.
