The Long and Short of It: 2021 National Book Award Longlist & Booker Shortlist

Literary award season kicks into high gear! The fashionistas will be cooing over the cardigans and sensible shoes on the red carpet! Will the judges decide that "Hell of a Book" is a hell of a book? Will everyone be talking about "No One is Talking About This?" Items one through ten are the National Book Award longlist, items ten through fifteen are the Booker Prize shortlist. The only overlap is Richard Powers' "Bewilderment," perhaps to his bewilderment.
