U.S. Route 6

U.S. Route 6 is an east-west highway in the central United States, extending for 3,198.87 miles through 14 states from Bishop, California to Provincetown, Massachusetts. From 1936 to 1964, when the highway's western terminus was in Long Beach, California, U.S. 6 was the longest highway in the country; it is currently the second longest road in the country, after U.S. Route 20.
