They are very high in cholesterol, hard to digest, acidy, may lead to inflammations, acne, flatulence, constipation, and food poisoning, and should be avoided after dental surgery, in case of irritable bowel syndrome, functional dyspepsia, gastritis, periodontal disease, rosacea, atopic dermatitis, liver cirrhosis, arthrosis, rheumatism, COPD, osteoporosis, MS, and ulcerative colitis, as well as during menstruation, pregnancy, and menopause. Therefore, on this list you can find some ways of replacing eggs in sweet baked goods and desserts. Some of the foods on this list, such as baking powder, will help your cakes rise better. Others, such as chickpea flour, are great for giving baked goods a better consistency. Others, such as margarine, will make your desserts creamier.
