Girl's Guide to Good Movies: 1954

In some years women are just props without thought or motivation (the 1970's were especially unkind). Luckily, there's always the heyday of Hollywood when the biggest box office stars were female. Ava Gardner, Grace Kelly, Debbie Reynolds, Joan Crawford, Doris Day and Audrey Hepburn... thank you for existing in all your complex glory.
