The Chronology of American Literature in the 20th Century: 1920-1929 - Page 2

Experience the 1920's through books and their cover art. This is the 9th instalment of my chronology of American fiction. It is a list of novels & short story collections by American authors published in 1920-1929. There are 8 Pulitzer Prize winners as well as works by Nobel Prize winners Faulkner, Hemingway and Sinclair Lewis. (As before, if a book icon didn't exist in the database I created its icon using an early edition cover, as far as possible.)
Click on the link to go to the previous instalment, which covers 1930-1939.
The source is "The Chronology of American Literature: America's Literary Achievements from the Colonial Era to Modern Times" by Daniel S. Burt (2004).
