The Chronology of American Literature in the 20th Century: 1930-1939 - Page 3

This is the 8th instalment of my chronology of American fiction. It is a list of novels & short story collections by American authors published in 1930-1939. There are 10 Pulitzer Prize winners as well as works by Nobel Prize winners Pearl S. Buck, Faulkner, Hemingway, Steinbeck, I.B. Singer and Sinclair Lewis. (For aficionados of book covers: if a book icon didn't exist in the database (which was about 70% of the time), I created its icon, as often as possible, using an early cover.)
Click on the link to go to the previous instalment, which covers 1940-1949.
The source is "The Chronology of American Literature: America's Literary Achievements from the Colonial Era to Modern Times" by Daniel S. Burt (2004).
The books by year are are:
1930: 1-22
1931: 23-43
1932: 44-70
1933: 71-93
1934: 94-128
1935: 129-156
1936: 157-183
