U.S. Route 31 is a north-south highway in the eastern United States, stretching 1,280 miles through 5 states from Spanish Fort, Alabama to Mackinaw City, Michigan. Between Nashville, Tennessee and Louisville, Kentucky, the highway is divided into U.S. Route 31 West (#24-29) and U.S. Route 31 East (#30-39).
