"Dead" Food According to Kollath - Page 2

Kollath is considered a pioneer of whole foods. According to him, foods should be eaten in their most natural state. Based on this principle, he distiguinshed between recommendable "living food" and not recommendable "dead" foods. Some of his theses may easily be considered wrong from a modern point of view, and products such as tofu or seitan are to be considered a much healthier alternative to meat; however, the general idea of quality loss by hyper-processing of food cannot be denied.
