The English Teacher Reflects: 100 Random Books Worth Reading - Fiction - Page 2

Our Maverick English Teacher is getting more reflective as he gets closer to retirement, and has come up with 100 works of fiction that he has loved to read and re-read. The books range from established classics through popular successes of the past and present to some less well-known gems that deserve, he feels, wider recognition. There is no rationale behind the list; our compiler thought of 100 books and then stopped. He hopes that users of this list try one or more of these books, and in so doing find a new favorite or an old friend.
